What are UUAM Chapters?

While UUAM is an international organization, 45+ UUAM chapters function as independent groups with animal ministries covering specific geographic areas. Chapters are typically committees or affinity groups of their respective Unitarian Universalist congregations, but some exist as their own independent nonprofits.

Although UUAM is legally separate from UUAM chapters, and chapters are not subsidiaries of UUAM, UUAM offers support, resources, and counsel to chapters through developing congregational resources, offering chapter grants, facilitating monthly meetings of chapter leaders, and more.
